I have been working on computers from a very young age. One of my first memories of troubleshooting and fixing a computer problem comes from when I was in around grade 6. Back then, hard drive space was at a premium. In those days disk compression software was quite popular, effectively doubling the capacity of the hard drive. Well, one day, I had decided to free up space, which we did periodically back then. Well, to make a long story short, I ended up completely deleting our hard drive, with a great deal of very important information on it. Needless to say, my parents were not impressed. Well, without getting into too many technical details, I was able to restore the entire hard drive with absolutely nothing lost. I have had many other successes over the years, but generally without messing it up first.

Then, after graduation, I worked in my parents store, working on computers and other basic electronics.  I took some further training, both from Cisco Networks as well as the Microsoft certification training.  These have obviously been a great help in working on server issues, as well as network issues that pop up.  Then, of course there is good old experience.  After working on literally thousands of computers, you get to see almost any problem that pops up or at least some variation of the problem, and typically I have a solution for that problem.
